Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Clarksville, TN, requiring prior travel experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) setting in a 270-bed hospital with a 44-bed ED unit
• General population patient age range served
• Patient ratios of 1:4–5
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Schedule flexibility required to meet unit needs; block schedules and schedule requests cannot be accommodated
• Cerner EMR experience is strongly preferred
• No floating required
• No charge nurse responsibilities required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TN or compact (multistate) RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

• Navy scrubs required
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted but at a different rate
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
