Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse is needed for a floating position at a healthcare facility in Tennessee. This role involves working night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. within a float pool environment, providing care across multiple Medical Surgical units. The position requires flexibility to meet staffing needs, including floating to the emergency room as necessary.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Nights (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.)
• Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week
• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; prior travel experience; Tennessee license or compact license on file; current BLS certification
• Required Qualifications: Valid Tennessee or compact nursing license, BLS certification, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and prior travel experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating within Medical Surgical units and Emergency Room environments
• Float: Float to emergency room as needed
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 08/10, 08/17, 08/24, and 08/31. Candidates must be flexible and meet unit staffing needs. The facility utilizes Cerner electronic medical records and requires scrubs in navy. The unit ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:6. The schedule is managed by the facility, and interviews will be conducted by the manager with offers extended accordingly.
