Information Technology Analyst

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Compensation: $40–48/hour W2 About the Opportunit yWe are seeking a Senior IT Analys t to join a collaborative enterprise IT team supporting high-impact business initiatives. In this role, you'll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external service providers to gather and document requirements, analyze business processes, troubleshoot issues, and drive projects from discovery through implementation .This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys bridging the gap between business and technology while helping deliver scalable, high-quality solutions .Responsibilitie sGather, analyze, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements .Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party service providers to define project scope and deliverables .Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation for both technical and nontechnical audiences .Create user stories, process flows, functional specifications, reports, presentations, and supporting documentation .Troubleshoot business and system issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions .Monitor service performance using KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement .Assess IT risks, elevate issues appropriately, and support issue resolution .Review vendor performance, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure compliance .Analyze business processes, application workflows, system integrations, and data flows .Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience .Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, timelines, and quality expectations .Required Qualification sBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) .7+ years of experience as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role .Strong experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements .Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders .Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities .Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC environments .Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment .Customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder relationship skills .Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) .Preferred Qualification .Experience with business process analysis and workflow documentation .Knowledge of contracts, vendor management, and service level agreements (SLAs) .Experience working in KPI-driven or metrics-based IT organizations .Continuous improvement or process optimization experience .Ideal Candidat eWe're looking for someone who enjoys solving business problems through technology and can confidently work with both business leaders and technical teams.
