Ocean Import or Export Coordinator
Location: Atlanta
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Salary - $55k to $65k depending on experience
Benefits: Medical, 401k, PTO

We are seeking Ocean Import or Export Coordinators for various clients across Los Angeles . This role is responsible for managing end-to-end international freight operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of international import operations from booking through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time execution.
- Handle ocean import or export operations, including documentation preparation, coordination with overseas agents, and shipment execution.
- Prepare and manage rate quotes for customers and international partners for ocean freight.
- Coordinate and oversee consolidated cargo shipments.
- Communicate regularly with overseas agents, carriers, trucking companies, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, shipping laws, and internal procedures.
- Proactively resolve shipment issues to minimize delays or service disruptions.
- Support customer relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a freight forwarding company handling ocean import or export operations from start to finish (required).
- Hands-on experience using CargoWise is advantageous
