TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Case Manager RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63136!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2-3 years in case management License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Ability to work with technology (typing, Microsoft, Epic) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to organize and prioritize work - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Description: This position involves case management during day shifts, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some Saturdays. The role entails working with adults needing home health setup and discharge assistance. Candidates should possess experience in care coordination, discharge planning, and medical necessity. Candidates must also understand CMS regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and have experience with prior authorizations. An emphasis on understanding diagnosis-related groups and core measures is essential. Candidates should be capable of working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Travel experience is required, and the ability to adapt to various patient needs is critical.
