Customer Service Representative
Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for a Customer Service Representative position for a Tyler Area Company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary opportunities. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services! In this role, you will:
- Verify shipment details and prepare shipping documentation
- Schedule and route shipments for pickup with carriers
- Track and record monthly on-time delivery and late shipment metrics
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Answer customer questions and assist with resolving complaints
- Take customer orders and provide pricing quotes
- Maintain organized files and shipment records
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
We like to hear from candidates with the following:
- Previous shipping, logistics, customer service, or office experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with invoicing and shipping documentation is a plus
- Reliable attendance and a professional demeanor
