Assistant Project Manager

Lever Construction | DFW (Bedford, TX) 80,000 - 100,000 per year We're hiring an Assistant Project Manager who wants a direct path to running their own projects. You'll work alongside our Senior PM and leadership on real project responsibility from day one, not three years of filing submittals. APMs at Lever are positioned for growth into full Project Manager roles with active mentorship from senior leadership. What you’ll do Support projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeout docs in Procore Draft and track subcontractor agreements and POs, solicit bidders, and coordinate sub schedules and deliveries Assist with project schedules in Microsoft Project, track procurement, prepare monthly pay apps, and flag budget risks early Conduct site visits for progress, quality, and safety, and coordinate with Superintendents on field issues Attend owner and architect meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and keep leadership informed What we’re looking for 2-4 years of commercial construction experience as a Project Engineer, APM, or similar Working knowledge of commercial construction methods and the ability to read drawings and specs Procore experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam a plus Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred Valid driver's license and good driving record Location and travel Based in DFW with periodic travel to Houston, Austin, and San Antonio project sites, including occasional overnights.
