Location: Wyckoff Heights Medical Center | Main Campus, New York, USA Shift: 3PM-11PM, alternating weekends Salary: $26.8278 Job Description Greet everyone who comes to the desk in a kind, pleasant and courteous manner Place name tags on patient stretcher/beds Answer telephone and direct calls in a prompt and courteous manner Page physician and other staff members as directed Maintain logs and ensure paper forms are current and adequately supplied Make frequent rounds to reconcile census Communicate effectively with patients/visitors and members of the healthcare team Keep track of patients' movement in and out of the department Work efficiently in a high‑stress environment Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Keyboarding and/or computer skills Knowledge of medical terminology Good communication skills (written, verbal, and telephone) Good telephone personality and manners Education High School Diploma/Equiv or better. Licenses & Certifications
