Information Technology Business Analyst

Richmond, VA | Hybrid, 3 days in office I'm working with a leading US law firm hiring two IT Business Analysts to join their Richmond-based project team. This is a business-facing BA role, working directly with attorneys, practice leaders and senior stakeholders to turn business needs into practical technology solutions. The Role Gather requirements, map workflows and develop business cases Manage 7-10 business-facing projects across varying complexity Evaluate SaaS/COTS products, vendors and RFPs Present recommendations and project benefits to senior leadership Partner with IT, Information Security, Enterprise Applications and vendors Identify opportunities to improve processes and introduce new technology What We're Looking For 8+ years of Business Analysis experience preferred Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills Comfortable presenting to senior leadership and working with non-technical stakeholders Experience working across multiple projects and priorities Agile, Waterfall or iterative delivery experience Law firm experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Professional services, consulting and financial services backgrounds could also translate well.
