Role Description

We are currently looking for a pharmacist at 1st Choice pharmacy Management LLC. The pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing inventory, providing patient care, and collaborating with the healthcare team. This role requires working onsite in Poway, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Dispensing prescribed medications in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations;
• Providing direction related to quality, clinical and compliance for Apotheco operations initiatives in compliance with state and federal laws
• Providing consultation and other pharmacy services to patients
• Providing supervision of Apotheco's support staff; and
• All other functions reasonably assigned to you that are consistent with your title.

Education/Experience:

Have earned a BS or Pharm D degree from an accredited pharmacy school.

License/Certification:

Licensed pharmacist in the state of California.

• Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be detailed oriented.
• Familiar with clinical program components, formulary designs, prescription benefit trends, and PA programs

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and self-motivated
• Strong computer skills, including MS Windows, Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced call center environment
• Strong team building and leadership skills
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to professionalism
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
