Details Hospital-based CT Tech position Serves ED patients and inpatients with no scheduled outpatients during the shift Night shift, 3x12 hours, weekends Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM Technologist works alone after midnight May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs Uses EPIC charting system Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment with PACS Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in CT required ARRT CT certification required BLS certification required Active WA Radiological Technologist license required in hand at time of consideration, if applicable EPIC charting experience required Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast Experience with 3D rendering including MIP, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering Skilled in image display and post-processing Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts First-time travelers considered with 1 year of hospital experience Additional Information Performs CT imaging across a range of studies including trauma head, carotid, sinuses, cervical/lumbar/thoracic spine, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular chest imaging such as PE studies, CTA, and aorta Works in a Level I and Level II Trauma Center environment Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local candidates Travel pairs accepted Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a traveler Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers, averaging 8-12 hours American Traveler Job ID #P-744746.
