Senior Quality Engineering & Program ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineering and Program Manager to join our dynamic team in New Orleans, LA for the Space Launch System program.Position Responsibilities:Serves as a member of both the SLS program leadership team and Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems Total Quality leadership teamResponsible for all aspects of Quality on the SLS program from design through launchManages employees and mid-level managers performing quality engineering and quality assurance on the SLS program through all phases of the product lifecycleDevelops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of SLS program/business plansProvides education and coaching on the Quality SystemAcquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reportsOversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibilityManages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers within an inclusive and collaborative environmentAbility to understand the big picture and inter-relationships of functionsAbility to effectively communicate current state performance to plans for executive consumptionThis position is expected to be 100% onsite.
