Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an inpatient occupational therapist for a facility located in Oakland, California. This highly specialized role involves working within a 58-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation program. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The position offers the opportunity to serve a complex patient population with a wide range of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses.

Job Details:

• Position: Occupational Therapist Inpatient
• Specialty Name: OT IP
• Shift Hours: 8 hours per day (7:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: CA license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association, 2 years of experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation, Valid CA State License, uploaded Nursys license verification within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, two references obtained within the last year, candidates must provide accurate work history going back 7 years, COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required.
• Additional Information: Assignments include holidays such as New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Labs must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start.
• Notes: Note action includes dropping the facility due to previous cancellations at another ABSMC campus, and an email has been sent to update the staffing team with candidate details and RTO (Reasonable Time Off) dates.
