Security Officer Screening Specialist

As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Wichita Falls, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and/or packages, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support smooth operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen individuals, packages, and deliveries entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements. Monitor access points, loading areas, and other assigned locations; verify credentials and report unauthorized activity or irregularities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and loading zones to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
