Job Description Pay Rate: $21.00/hour Contract: 90-day contract, expected to run through the end of the year Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Additional Schedule: Rotating Wednesdays may occasionally require a 10:00 AM-7:00 PM shift About The Role We are seeking an Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. In this role, you will work directly with customers to help them access and receive program services, maintain eligibility, and achieve their program goals. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and comfortable building relationships with customers while navigating program requirements and resources. What You’ll Do Develop strong working relationships with customers and monitor their engagement and progress. Work with customers regularly to help them meet program goals and maintain program services and eligibility. Provide guidance throughout multiple phases of the application process, from enrollment through the awarding of benefits and services. Assist customers in accessing resources such as: Educational and vocational training Medical services Child care Transportation Substance abuse and mental health services Child support establishment Legal services Other community and support resources Follow up with customers to ensure their needs are being addressed and questions or concerns are resolved. Collaborate with team members to provide expertise and assistance in resolving customer issues. Maintain accurate and timely case notes documenting customer contacts and activities. Share information regarding outreach and customer engagement efforts with project staff. Identify barriers that may prevent customers from engaging with the Provider and communicate those concerns to project staff. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. What You’ll Need High school diploma or GED required Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build positive relationships with customers Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to maintain accurate documentation and case notes Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently $21.00 / hr HV23
