Partnership Success & Marketing Specialist

Double the Donation was founded in 2011 and specializes in cloud-based software focused exclusively on the fundraising needs of nonprofit organizations and educational institutions. We've grown to be the leading provider of fundraising software that helps nonprofits and schools increase revenue through corporate matching gift and employee volunteer grant programs. Thousands of the largest nonprofits in the world, like the American Heart Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Save the Children, Boys and Girls Club of America, as well as hundreds of the top educational institutions like Emory, UGA, Vanderbilt, Case Western, and the University of Virginia, rely on our services to effectively grow their employee matching gift program revenue. Job Description: In this role, you’ll be in daily contact with leading nonprofit technology and consulting companies to help build and facilitate partnerships, integrations, and marketing that our nonprofit clients rely on. The Position: This is the perfect role for someone who has recently graduated or is early in their career. We’re looking to hire candidates who have 0-3 years of experience, an interest in the nonprofit sector, and a desire to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people and companies. As a Partnership Success and Marketing Specialist, your responsibility is to assist in the building and maintenance of the most important relationships our nonprofit clients rely on to keep their technology solutions up and running. The ideal candidate is excited to represent themselves and Double the Donation to external parties, whether that means presenting a product demo to a team of engineers or coordinating a marketing webinar with an invitee list in the tens of thousands. The best candidates are fantastic written and verbal communicators, quick learners, and skilled researchers. In this role, you will: Spend large portions of your day talking to people in a wide range of positions at nonprofit technology companies Present marketing ideas and strategies that are beneficial for our company, our nonprofit clients, and our partners Coordinate technical, marketing, and commercial conversations and produce supporting materials Prioritize a large number of possible daily tasks down to a list of essential tasks Represent yourself and the company over the phone, in emails, and sometimes in person Negotiate contracts and close deals Who we're looking for: Individuals looking for entry-level positions (Majors that could be a good fit include Communications, Business, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or other Liberal Arts degrees) Strong academic performance with an overall 3.9 GPA minimum Individuals who take their professional achievements very seriously As a small growing business, there are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before applying. We also need you to: Be able to work independently and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment Have excellent written & verbal communication skills Have a demonstrated ability to learn new things quickly and think on your feet Can work through obstacles and challenges Be highly organized with strong time management skills Be results-driven and goal-oriented Benefits: What do we offer? Base salary: $75,000.00 per year One-time additional $2,000 signing/relocation payment on your 1st paycheck, dependent upon a start date. If you don’t stay with the company for 2 full years, you’ll need to repay this in full. This bonus is designed to help offset the costs of starting your new job (moving, new lease, furnishing, etc.). Eligible for an annual bonus based on client and/or company performance. Your bonus range is $0 – $8,000 per 12-month period with a target of $4,000. Optional Life leave cash-out value of $3,375 per year if you choose to cash it out rather than using it. Monthly stipend of $100 for health insurance if you choose not to enroll in the company’s healthcare plan. Expected Year 1 Compensation totals above $80,000+, with it increasing in future years. Time Off: We believe in working hard and striving for your best throughout the year, but also that individuals should have an abundance of flexibility to take time off to see family, friends, or pursue their passions. All team members have: 20 vacation days per year 5 sick days per year 7 company holidays per year 15 life leave days per year. These days may be used during the year, rolled over into next year, or redeemed for their cash value 1x per year.
