Job Summary
We are seeking an Oracle Database Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise database environments that support mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database performance, security, availability, backup and recovery, and overall database lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle database environments.
- Monitor database performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Manage database security, user access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization activities.
- Support application development teams with database design and troubleshooting.
- Monitor database health and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
- Implement high-availability solutions and replication technologies.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
