Purpose of Your Role The Clinical Outreach Specialist’s primary goal is to increase patient admissions through strong partnerships with healthcare providers and other referral sources. Success is measured by the number of new patients (admissions) acquired directly from your outreach and relationship‑building efforts. Success Indicators / KPIs Meetings: 40 Tours: 4 Hosted Events: 1 Revenue goal for your assigned area designated by Outreach Leadership. Daily goal setting and reporting of KPIs to the Outreach team and leadership. Core Competencies Interpersonal Communication – communicate effectively with clients, team members, and leadership and adapt communication to a multidisciplinary team environment. Prospecting – identify and connect with potential referral sources and partners to expand the organization’s reach. Relationship Building – establish and nurture long‑term relationships with healthcare providers and key decision‑makers to drive referrals. Data Management – accurately track and report outreach activities, referral contacts, and follow‑ups using CRM systems like Salesforce. Objection Handling – address concerns and resolve barriers to referrals through clear communication and problem‑solving skills. Core Responsibilities Prospecting and Educating Referral Sources Identify and establish connections with new referrers. Educate referrers about our services, patient suitability, industry‑leading outcomes, and the referral process. Address and resolve any objections or concerns referrers may have. Engagement and Relationship Management Conduct meetings with primary care providers, pediatricians, internists, OB/GYNs, psychiatrists, therapists, and other key referral sources. Facilitate one‑on‑one follow‑ups with referral offices to express gratitude and strengthen relationships. Deliver group presentations, conduct clinic tours, and attend/exhibit at relevant conferences. Manage and nurture relationships through consistent, timely communication with referral sources. Outreach and Admissions Achieve admissions goals by fostering strong relationships with healthcare providers and driving patient referrals. Follow up on referrals to ensure the process is smooth and to support providers’ workflows. Data Management Submit accurate and timely monthly expense reports. Maintain up‑to‑date records of all referral contacts and activities in Salesforce and Badger Maps, emphasizing key information like email addresses for marketing purposes. Partnership Development Prospect and engage with potential partners, such as hospitals, inpatient facilities, and behavioral health providers. Meet with key decision‑makers to establish partnerships, understand their needs, and address barriers to treatment. Territory and Activity Management Focus on managing high‑yield referral sources within your territory. Set daily, weekly, and monthly goals for outreach activities and admissions, with clear action plans. Community Engagement and Education Identify and participate in events to educate the community about OCD Anxiety Centers’ programs. Provide support for planning and executing community engagement events. Team Support Offer training and support to team members to enhance their skills and productivity. The Skills And Expertise You Have Proven ability to manage and cultivate relationships effectively. Demonstrates exceptional sales skills and techniques. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software applications. Capable of accurate and efficient electronic data entry. Consistently punctual with an excellent attendance record. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently to complete responsibilities. Strong multitasking and problem‑solving abilities, with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Comfortable thriving in dynamic work environments, including both indoor and outdoor settings. Collaborative and team‑oriented approach to work. Requirements Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare sales or outreach role. Active book of business. Must drive a personal vehicle for community outreach activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the mental health field. History of achieving goals in referral generation efforts. Proficiency in CRM and EMR software. Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field desired.
