Civil Designer - Primoris Pipeline & Engineering

Primoris Engineering is seeking a Civil Designer to join our engineering group in Houston, TX. Successful candidates will have experience with the latest civil and structural Autodesk design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Candidate should be experienced with and proficient in grading work utilizing Civil 3D.Duties and Responsibilities:Create Grading models and plans using Civil 3D software.Run cut and fill analysis as well as be able to put together materials list based on site specific soil conditions.Create platform, supports and structures using CADWorx Structure.Work closely with engineering team and coordinate with other disciplines through duration of projects.Be familiar with OSHA regulations and PIP Standards.Work with external vendors to ensure all drawings align with equipment and technical documentation.Maintain records of revisions and markups through scope of project.Required Qualifications:Prior grading work using Civil 3DMinimum 2 years of experience in CAD Design.Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3DProficient in 3D modeling using a variety of Autocad applications.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Desired Qualifications:Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task from project to project.Exceptional organization skillsWorks well in team environment with good communication skills both verbal and written.Company Overview:Primoris was formed in 2004 as the parent company and is traded on the NYSE under the symbol PRIM.
