Structural Designer - Primoris Pipeline

Primoris Pipeline (Midstream Engineering) is seeking a Senior-level Structural Designer to join our office in Houston, TX. Successful candidates will have 8+ years of experience with the latest civil/structural design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and CADWorx Structure Hexagon PPM. Candidate should be familiar with 2D/3D CAD fundamentals and be willing to take ownership of their work.Duties and Responsibilities:Create Grading models and plans using Civil 3D software.Run cut and fill analysis as well as be able to put together materials list based on site specific soil conditions.Create platform, supports and structures using CADWorx Structure.Work closely with engineering team and coordinate with other disciplines through duration of projects.Be familiar with OSHA regulations and PIP Standards.Work with external vendors to ensure all drawings align with equipment and technical documentation.Maintain records of revisions and markups through scope of project.Required Qualifications:8 to 15 years of experience working as a Structural DesignerProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and CADWorx StructureProficiency in 3D modeling using a variety of Autocad applicationsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Desired Qualifications:Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task from project to project.Exceptional organization skillsAbility to work well in team environment with advanced communication skills, both verbal and writtenCompany Overview:Primoris Engineering provides complete professional and technical engineering services, including feasibility studies, process design packages, front-end engineering designs, economic analysis, detailed engineering, survey, and construction and commissioning services for projects in the Refining, Renewables, Chemicals, and Mid-Stream markets.
