The Field Support Specialist / Driver plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional on-site support by combining driving skills with technical expertise. This position involves operating light duty vehicles to transport equipment and supplies, conducting equipment installations and training customers, providing technical troubleshooting, and performing building inspections. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, this role requires strong communication and problem-solving abilities while utilizing mobile technology and GPS navigation to optimize field operations.

Responsibilities

• Transport Employees to work
• Train Employees
• Drive light duty vehicles to deliver equipment and supplies safely and on schedule
• Perform equipment installation, customer training, and technical troubleshooting during visits
• Conduct building inspections and employee training to ensure compliance and functionality
• Plan and navigate routes using GPS and mobile devices for efficient field support
• Engage professionally with customers to provide technical assistance and resolve issues
• Document service visits through paper-based reporting and maintain accurate records
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for field activities
• Comply with safety procedures and guidelines during driving and field operations
• Run errands and provide additional support including laundry services as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in field support roles
• Valid driver’s license with experience operating light duty vehicles
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic technical troubleshooting and equipment handling capabilities
• Effective time management and route navigation skills
• Knowledge of and adherence to safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
