Job Description
The Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in the supply chain by accurately managing the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. This position ensures that all goods received meet quality standards and are properly logged into inventory systems, contributing to efficient warehouse operations and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments with care and accuracy
- Inspect goods for damage, quality, and correctness against purchase orders
- Document receipt of inventory in relevant tracking systems
- Organize and store received goods in designated areas
- Communicate discrepancies or issues with suppliers and management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving area
- Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure stock accuracy
