Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team. Account Executives are pivotal in delivering exceptional service and innovative insurance solutions to our clients. In this role you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and professionalism. You will leverage your expertise in insurance sales and marketing to develop tailored solutions that maximize client value and foster long‑term relationships. Responsibilities Building and maintaining strong, trust‑based relationships with clients and prospects Identifying new business opportunities and cross‑selling additional products and services Consistently meeting and exceeding individual sales goals and revenue targets through account rounding and prospecting new business from existing clients and identified target groups Conducting thorough needs assessments and delivering customized insurance and total client solutions Negotiating terms and coverage with underwriters and carriers Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies Providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the client lifecycle Collecting detailed risk and underwriting information including survey data and loss history Developing and delivering formal proposals of insurance including details of coverage, limits, deductibles, and other pertinent information Collaborating with the Account Manager to ensure complete company submissions and account service, including claims issues Putting together industry standard ACORD applications via our Agency Management System, supplemental applications, reviewing loss runs, developing a narrative of the account along with claims data analytics and metrics Securing quotes, negotiating premiums and commissions, preparing proposals and corresponding presentations Binding coverage, preparing binders, and delegating certificates Providing contract review Processing policy changes and corresponding documents Proficient in carrier websites for rating, billing, processing changes, and loss retrieval Meeting with clients as needed or directed by the client advisor Participating in carrier/wholesaler meetings for relationship development Serving as a technical expert, assisting insureds and department members to resolve complex issues Required Qualifications Able to function independently and as part of a team Fully competent in applying established standards and works with guidance or direct supervision by exception Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams effectively, including delegating tasks, coordinating efforts across departments, and ensuring timely completion of objectives Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation High level of accounting or strong math skills High degree of critical thinking and problem‑solving skills when answers are not readily apparent Demonstrated attention to detail, producing outcomes with minimal errors Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast‑paced environment Advanced proficiency with a variety of technology, including MS Office Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic a plus Complies with continuing education requirements for agent licensing as well as professional designations Keeps informed regarding industry information, new production information, coverages, and technology to continually improve knowledge and stay current Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of commercial insurance experience or recognized equivalent is required Hold and maintain appropriate state Property and Casualty Insurance License(s); or obtain within 90 days of hire date Initiate, obtain, and maintain advanced designations such as CIC, CPCU, or other Benefits Competitive compensation Generous vacation policy, paid holidays, and paid sick time Medical, dental, and vision insurance (employee‑paid) Company‑paid short‑term and long‑term disability insurance Company‑paid group life insurance Company‑paid employee assistance program and Calm app subscription Pet insurance and optional supplemental insurance coverage (employee‑paid) Vested 401(k) with company match and financial wellness programs Flexible Spending Account, Health Savings Account, and commuter benefits options Paid maternity leave, paid paternity leave, and fertility benefits Career growth and learning opportunities ... and so much more! Pay Details: The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 – $125,000. Placement within this range is based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
