This position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor at our **Maxville, FL** location.**The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:*** This position will safely perform highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with process equipment and mechanical systems for mining and mineral processing facilities operating 24-hours per day, 7-days per week maximizing equipment availability and reducing downtime.* Mechanic will support active operations by safely and efficiently maintaining, servicing, and installing/replacing water and slurry pumps, clarifiers, screeners, conveyors, feeders, shredders, bins, valves, and other mineral processing wear parts.* Mechanic will need to install, replace, troubleshoot, repair and maintain process equipment as well as perform preventive maintenance activities on all process equipment.* Preferred candidate will be an experienced and qualified industrial mechanic capable of working closely with maintenance and operations teams in a mining and mineral processing environment.**The following is *required* for this role:*** High School graduate or equivalent plus specialized training in mechanical, maintenance or a related field* Understanding methods and techniques of troubleshooting, repairing and installing plant equipment, rigging and lifting equipment, precision laser alignment of pumps and motors.* Knowledge of MSHA rules and regulations.* Use of computers and applicable software applications.**The following is *preferred* for this role:*** +5-years years of plant maintenance experience* Valid Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent, welding and rigging certification**Benefits:**Competitive CompensationComprehensive Benefits Packages401(k) MatchEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramTuition ReimbursementCommuter BenefitsLearning and Development OpportunitiesStrong Inclusion and Diversity InitiativesCompany-paid Volunteer DayWe’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
