Mass General Brigham Medical Laboratory Scientist IThe Medical Laboratory Scientist I plays a critical role in patient care by performing complex laboratory testing that supports the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of disease. Working independently under general supervision, the MLS I conducts both routine and specialized testing, operates and troubleshoots advanced laboratory instrumentation, ensures quality control compliance, and accurately interprets and reports test results. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and collaborating with laboratory colleagues to deliver timely, reliable results.
