Talent Acquisition Specialist

Oregon Specialty Group is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help build recruiting pipelines for a healthcare private practice. This onsite role in Salem, Oregon partners closely with hiring managers and organizational leaders to support workforce planning, execute full-cycle recruiting, and improve hiring outcomes through data and continuous process refinement. Reporting on recruiting performance and strengthening employer visibility are key parts of the work, including posting management, platform audits, and collaboration with Marketing on recruitment campaigns and career site content. The position also supports onboarding coordination and ensures selection practices align with applicable employment laws and organizational policies. What you will do Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, from requisition development and sourcing through candidate selection, offer acceptance, and pre-employment onboarding. Partner with hiring managers and organizational leaders to understand workforce needs, confirm position requirements, develop recruitment strategies, and align hiring efforts with department objectives. Lead proactive sourcing using strategies to identify qualified active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, social media, professional associations, healthcare-specific recruitment platforms, employee referrals, networking, and job boards. Design targeted sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and specialized healthcare roles, adjusting approaches based on market conditions, candidate availability, specialty, geographic needs, and organizational priorities. Create, maintain, and strategically place job postings across GNSA and other relevant recruitment platforms, including general and healthcare-specific job boards. Ensure job postings accurately reflect position requirements , organizational culture, and available employment opportunities. Screen and evaluate candidates through resume review , phone/video screening, and other established selection methods to assess qualifications, experience, skills, motivation, and fit. Guide hiring managers through selection with consultative support on candidate evaluation, interview practices, selection criteria, and hiring decisions. Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers to maintain a timely, organized, and professional process. Maintain a high-quality candidate experience by communicating promptly, managing expectations appropriately, and treating candidates with professionalism throughout. Manage the offer process , including compensation determinations within established guidelines, obtaining approvals, preparing/extending offers, negotiating within parameters, and facilitating pre-employment requirements. Support onboarding engagement by preparing and sending offer letters, setting up new hires in GNSA, coordinating required HR onboarding documentation, and filing active I-9 forms. Order Equitable entry cards through building management and coordinate pre-employment activities as needed for new hires. Ensure recruitment and selection practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and organizational policies, including equal employment opportunity, employment eligibility, background checks, applicant documentation, and fair selection practices. Track, analyze, and report recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑fill, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline activity, requisition activity, and other KPIs, and identify opportunities to improve outcomes. Evaluate recruiting platforms and sourcing channels to determine effectiveness in attracting qualified candidates. Audit Practice profiles on sites such as Indeed, Glassdoor, and ZipRecruiter , plus healthcare‑specific platforms, to keep information accurate and up to date. Partner with Marketing to strengthen employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts, including career site content, recruitment campaigns, social media initiatives, career fairs, and employee referral programs. Develop and maintain employee referral strategies to encourage participation and generate qualified referrals. Stay current on recruitment trends, healthcare labor market conditions, sourcing strategies, recruiting technology, and industry best practices. Research competitor recruitment activity and industry benchmarks to identify improvement and innovation opportunities. Continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and workflows to increase efficiency, improve candidate experience, strengthen hiring manager support, and help attract and retain talent. Represent Oregon Specialty Group professionally and with enthusiasm as a knowledgeable ambassador for the organization’s culture, values, career opportunities, and employment brand. Maintain appropriate confidentiality and discretion when handling candidate information, compensation information, employee records, and other sensitive HR matters. Coordinate designated HR administrative processes for onboarding and offboarding, including documenting resignations, updating the New Hire/Termination calendar, preparing and distributing Employee Exit Benefits letters, submitting badge termination requests to Salem Health, and transferring active I-9 forms to terminated I-9 records. Work effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment , managing multiple requisitions and time‑sensitive recruitment activities onsite. Maintain regular, predictable, and reliable attendance as scheduled, including being punctual and remaining at work for assigned hours, with access to on‑site systems and resources. Perform other related duties assigned by management, with appropriate training when needed. Minimum qualifications Bachelor’s degree , with preference in healthcare, human resources, or a related field 2+ years of recruiting experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and provide consultative support in hiring decisions Strong organizational skills , attention to detail, and sound independent judgment Extensive knowledge of recruitment best practices , processes, and applicable employment laws within the healthcare industry Hands‑on sourcing experience, including recruiting on social platforms and creating search strings Familiarity with ATS and HRIS Strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in recruitment, with emphasis on digital and online strategies Knowledge of employee benefits, enrollment processes, and experience working with brokers/carriers Tools and platforms LinkedIn Social media GNSA ATS HRIS Indeed , Glassdoor , ZipRecruiter Equitable entry cards Preferred qualifications Experience recruiting clinical, medical, and healthcare roles , including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Familiarity with healthcare‑specific recruitment platforms and job boards (for example, HealtheCareers , PracticeLink ) Role details Location: Salem, OR (onsite) Salary: USD 65,124 - 76,356 per year Experience: 2 years minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree #J-18808-Ljbffr Oregon Specialty Group
