Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential physical therapy services to students spanning Pre K through 12th grade. In this full-time, itinerant role, you’ll serve multiple school sites within the district, working closely with educators and families to help students reach their highest potential. The position begins August 11, 2026 and runs through May 27, 2027, offering you structured school hours—up to 37.5 hours per week with no virtual/remote assignments, as this opportunity is strictly on-site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Current Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Previous experience in school-based physical therapy or pediatrics preferred
• Ability to provide care for students of all ages, from Pre K through high school
• Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across different campuses
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services
• Support students in accessing their educational environment through mobility and functional interventions
• Document progress and communicate with teachers, staff, and families
• Travel between assigned school locations as part of an itinerant schedule

Credentialing & Onboarding:

• Completion of fingerprinting is required; previous prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse may be transferable with proper verification
• JLA badge required, with possible transfer from other Florida districts
