Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for telemetry patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess patient status, administer medications as prescribed, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with physicians, allied disciplines, and support teams.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic medical record; ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Collaborate on care planning, patient and family education, and discharge planning; participate in unit rounding as appropriate.
- Float Pool considerations: when assigned to a unit, clock in to that unit and adhere to unit policies; contribute to educational or non-productive activities as applicable.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- BLS certification required; ACLS recommended
- Telemetry or hospital-based nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
- Strong communication skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting
