As a Locum MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality emergency care, ensuring that patients receive prompt and efficient medical attention. You will be part of a collaborative team focused on patient outcomes and operational excellence within our medical practice. 

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients
• Assess and diagnose patient conditions promptly and accurately
• Perform life-saving procedures and interventions as needed
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and policies
• Stay updated on the latest developments in emergency medicine practices

Requirements

• Active MD or DO license in Emergency Medicine
• 1-3 years of clinical experience in an emergency setting
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus

Schedule: 8-hour day and night shifts

Annual Volume: 25,000 patients

Support Staff: Overlapping MDs, APPs

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

ACLS, BLS and DEA required
