SANITATION MANAGERThe Sanitation Manager oversees sanitation and cleaning operations within the Food & Nutrition Services department. This position leads the sanitation team, maintains a clean and safe environment, and ensures compliance with hospital, company, and regulatory standards.Essential Duties:Lead daily sanitation, dishroom, and cleaning operations.Hire, train, schedule, and supervise sanitation associates.Maintain cleaning procedures, schedules, and inspection logs.Ensure kitchens, equipment, storage areas, and service areas meet sanitation standards.Conduct routine inspections and correct any issues.Ensure compliance with food safety, infection control, and workplace safety requirements.Manage cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and inventory.Coordinate pest control and waste removal.Monitor labor, expenses, and department performance.Work closely with culinary, operations, and hospital leadership.Support regulatory inspections and quality-improvement efforts.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Four years of sanitation, foodservice, housekeeping, environmental services, or related experience.At least one year of supervisory or management experience.Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, cleaning chemicals, and workplace safety.Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.Healthcare or high-volume foodservice experience preferred.ServSafe certification preferred.Basic Microsoft Office skills.Associate degree preferred.
