Furniture Coordinator

Services provided include comprehensive facility operations; project management for renovations, minor construction, and major equipment repairs; engineering, construction, and operations support; custodial and grounds maintenance services; environmental, safety, and occupational health support; food services; motorpool and logistics operations; and physical and technical security services.As the Furniture Coordinator you will focus on O&M repair/ configuration that affects furniture moves and configurations. O&M repair/ configurations involving the movement of furniture will fall under the scope of already established offices. The scope of work will not include new office fit-ups or major office renovation project.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:The Furniture Coordinator responsibilities shall cover the range of activities to include:Coordinate with external vendors to schedule furniture deliveries, oversee deliveries, and assist the Government in ensuring the furniture is in good condition.Coordinating with the Logistics team for status updates about furniture Purchase Orders processed through the Government systems (i.e., Genesis)Coordinating with the furniture vendor representative to ensure furniture delivery to the customer's workspace once received at the Government's loading dock.Interfacing with customers to understand their office renovation (minor) requirements will affect the movement and configuration of furniture.Interfacing and coordinating with IT components that may require their involvement (i.e., disconnect/reconnect connections) relating to furniture movement and configuration.Providing technical counsel, insight, and advice to the customer about the vendor's work scope.
