Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a night shift travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Neonatal ICU (NICU) setting
• Level III or higher NICU environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every third weekend required
• Holidays covered as needed
• No on-call or floating requirements
• Epic EMR used; experience required
• May involve caring for COVID-positive patients

Requirements

• Active PA RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience at a Level III or higher facility
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with all modes of ventilation — HFCC, CPAP, and conventional vents — preferred

Additional Information

• Candidates undergo a clinical screening process to assess fit prior to manager review; a manager interview is required
• Maximum of 7 days of time off requests for the duration of the contract; all time off requests must be submitted upfront
