Banquet Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Supervisor to oversee the planning and execution of our events, ensuring exceptional service and seamless operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment, contributing to memorable guest experiences and the overall success of our venue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all banquet event operations, including setup, service, and breakdown
- Lead and motivate banquet staff to deliver high-quality service and maintain professional standards
- Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their needs and ensure event specifications are met
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of banquet spaces, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards
- Manage staffing schedules, assign duties, and monitor performance during events
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and equipment, coordinating with vendors as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in banquet or event management, hospitality, or related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards in a hospitality setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or management training is a plus
