The Mover role involves assisting customers with residential and specialty moves, including handling delicate items like pianos and artwork. Working within a small team, movers perform loading, unloading, packing, and furniture assembly while ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires physical stamina and occasional overnight travel, using standard and box trucks along with specialized moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload household and specialty items safely
• Pack belongings efficiently to prevent damage during transit
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing their concerns
• Drive moving trucks adhering to safety regulations
• Utilize specialized equipment such as dollies and lifts for heavy or delicate items
• Coordinate with a small team (2-3 people) to ensure smooth moves
• Travel overnight occasionally to complete moves

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in moving or logistics
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges during moves
