Manager Accounting

Responsibilities Manage the Financial Operations of General Accounting Manage month end close activities for the Obligated Group and Consolidated Entities Manage General Ledger ERP system processes and procedures for accurate and appropriate transactions Ensure monthly and annual financial reporting packages are submitted timely and accurately Ensure quarterly and annual DAC Bond reports are reviewed and submitted timely and accurately Ensure completion of monthly and annual tax filings Assist leadership with completion of annual report to credit rating agencies Manage internal and external audit engagements and conformity of corporate policies and procedures Support the annual budgetary process as needed Budgetary responsibilities for General Accounting department Assist with Finance related issues as requested Experience Required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting with direct healthcare or public accounting experience preferred. Management experience required or demonstrated through previous job experience and responsibilities. Education Requirements Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Finance required, MBA degree preferred. Salary Min: USD $41.00 Max: USD $70.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr
