Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS PALS Must-Have: Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias). Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues. Administer blood products. Manage central lines. Start and maintain IVs. Administer IV sedation and vasopressors. Care for stroke (CVA) patients. Care for ventilated patients. Manage BiPAP/CPAP. Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs). Follow isolation precautions. Perform triage. No disciplinary issues on nursing license required. Description: We are seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. The position entails working night shifts. The nurse will be responsible for providing critical care to patients in the Emergency Room. Duties include interpreting heart rhythms and managing dysrhythmias. The nurse will care for critically ill patients with complex medical issues. They will administer medications and blood products as needed. The role also requires proficiency in managing IVs and central lines. The nurse must be comfortable caring for stroke and ventilated patients. In addition, the position involves performing triage and following isolation protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing. Professional certifications are required for this role. All requested time off must be submitted with the application. No time off will be approved after the offer. Candidates must arrange coverage for additional shifts if needed.
