Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, parathyroid, thyroid, thyroid therapy, and DAT scans
• Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment across a 4-scanner/room department averaging 6–10 studies per day
• Start and manage IV access as required for nuclear medicine procedures
• Utilize EPIC EMR and Synapse/PACS for image acquisition, documentation, and archiving
• Work collaboratively with on-site radiologists and department staff in a high-paced environment
• Adhere to department dress code: solid-color scrubs, no prints or graphics (scrubs not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
• Current BLS certification required
• Valid driver's license must be submitted at time of application
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Clinicians must be present in state for the full week of orientation, even if initial modules are completed remotely
• Traveler must supply their own radiation (Rad) badge

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced nuclear medicine department
• Familiarity with GE and Siemens nuclear medicine imaging systems
• Experience with EPIC EMR and Synapse/PACS platforms
