Business Analyst

Senior Business AnalystThe Senior Business Analyst plays a leading, cross functional role in helping NAC establish clear, practical business processes that support efficient execution, consistent outcomes, and effective day to day operations. Working closely with department leaders, project teams, and operational staff, the Senior Business Analyst helps teams document and improve workflows, clarify handoffs, and align on practical ways of working that support how the firm operates today and as it grows. A key focus of this role is helping the organization establish clearer ownership of business processes and the information those processes produce. The Senior Business Analyst will also support business systems implementation projects as assigned, helping define requirements, coordinate with stakeholders, and support successful delivery and adoption across the firm. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complex or evolving situations, facilitating alignment across teams, and balancing structure with pragmatism in a collaborative, project driven environment.Key Responsibilities:Business Process Definition & ImprovementProcess Ownership & Operational ClarityRequirements & Systems Implementation SupportChange Management & AdoptionImprovement Intake & PrioritizationRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).6–8+ years of experience in business analysis, business process improvement, or related roles.Experience working in professional services or project-based organizations.Business Process and Analysis Skills:Strong ability to understand, document, and improve workflows and business processes.Experience facilitating working sessions and helping groups reach alignment.Comfortable working with evolving information and helping bring clarity over time.Experience eliciting and documenting business and user requirements through interviews, workshops and research.Experience translating ideas and opportunities into actionable use cases and solution requirements.Project Management Skills:Experience developing work plans and managing resources against project timelines.Familiarity with Agile methodologies or iterative prototyping cyclesExperience supporting change management efforts during technology adoption.Proficiency in communicating project status and progress to stakeholders.Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across departments.Comfortable working cross-functionally without formal authority.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Tools & Technology:Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with process mapping and collaboration tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar).Familiarity with project or task tracking tools (e.g., Planner, Project, Jira) is a plus.Mindset:Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable.Committed to continuous improvement and innovation.Additional Qualifications:High degree of empathy and customer orientationCollaborative, service-oriented mindset with ability to work across teams.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and deliver initiatives successfully.Work Environment:Professional open-office environment with collaborative work areas and shared resources.Physical Demands:Hand/wrist/finger dexterity for 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week.Ability to sit for long periods of time.Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:Full-time, minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
