We're looking for a Construction Project Manager who enjoys leading projects, collaborating with homeowners, and stepping in when skilled hands are needed on the jobsite.If you take pride in quality work, communicate well with clients and trade partners, and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoIn this hybrid role, you'll manage residential remodeling projects while providing hands-on carpentry support when needed.Your responsibilities include:Manage multiple residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through completionCoordinate schedules, subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveriesCommunicate regularly with homeowners to provide project updates and ensure an exceptional client experienceMonitor budgets, schedules, and project progressConduct site visits to verify quality, safety, and jobsite organizationCollaborate with the design, production, and field teams throughout constructionAssist with change orders, project documentation, and problem resolutionPerform finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, trim work, and other skilled carpentry tasks as neededMentor field team members and help maintain SJ Janis' high standards of craftsmanshipWhat We're Looking For8+ years of residential remodeling, construction management, or high-end carpentry experienceExperience managing residential remodeling projects from start to finishStrong finish carpentry skills, including trim, cabinetry, millwork, and detailed installationsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional qualityStrong leadership, communication, and client relationship skillsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience using construction management software and mobile technologyCommitment to jobsite safety and professionalismValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, you will:Deliver projects that meet SJ Janis' standards for craftsmanship and qualityKeep projects organized, on schedule, and within budgetBuild strong relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and team membersSolve challenges proactively while maintaining a positive client experienceSupport the continued growth of the company through dependable leadership and exceptional workmanshipCompensation & Benefits$40-$44 per hour, based on experienceVehicle allowanceCell phone allowanceAdditional allowance for approved vehicle brandingHealth insurance with company contribution toward individual coverageTwo weeks of paid vacation available upon hireOpportunity to work on some of southeastern Wisconsin's premier luxury remodeling projectsWhy Join SJ Janis?Join a company with more than 75 years of excellence in residential remodelingWork on distinctive custom renovations and luxury homesBe part of a collaborative, quality-driven teamEnjoy a role that combines leadership with hands-on craftsmanshipBuild a long-term career with opportunities for professional growthHow to ApplyIf you're an experienced remodeling professional who enjoys leading projects while staying involved in the craft, we'd love to hear from you.Please submit your resume along with a brief summary of your residential remodeling experience.
