What You'll Be Doing Day To Day:

As a Supervisory Child Support Program Specialist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:

• Providing leadership in forming results-oriented, customer-focused partnerships to address CSE program and service concerns. Overseeing the coordinating of cross-program plans, projects, and initiatives. Coordinating within OCSE, ACF, and HHS and other Federal, State, and Tribal agencies in the development of child support program initiatives and projects involving a broad range of complex program topics and themes.
• Monitoring the approval of state plans and submits recommendations to the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner concerning state plan disapproval. Monitoring the approval of Tribal applications and plans and submits recommendations to the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner concerning plan approval or disapproval. Contributing to the development of national policy based on regional perspectives on all CSE regional programs.
• Ensuring the provision of policy guidance to States, Tribes, and local governments and public and private organizations to ensure consistent and uniform adherence to Federal requirements governing the Federal child support program. Representing the Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner and the Regional Program Units in planning, coordinating, and implementing initiatives, projects, or other cross program efforts with other ACF programs.
• Assuring goals and objectives are met, and departmental and program initiatives are carried out. Providing leadership to Regional Program Managers through organized and focused dialogue around CSE goals and priorities, in a dynamic and changing environment. Overseeing and coordinates the combined financial and budgetary planning and management for the regional program units.
