Job Responsibilities

• Deliver dedicated speech therapy interventions aimed at improving communication, fluency, language skills, and swallowing capacity.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and family members to enhance the treatment experience.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families, empowering them to continue progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatments, ensuring seamless continuity in care.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to all relevant guidelines at various levels.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly regarded.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the initial month of employment.
