Litigation Associate | Charlotte, NC
An Am Law 200 law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Charlotte, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have 5–15 years of litigation experience and a strong interest in building a long-term career in litigation.
Practice Focus
The role will primarily focus on general litigation and commercial disputes. Experience representing landlords, handling real estate litigation, or working with property management clients is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and discovery-related documents.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and client communications.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys across practice areas in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to the North Carolina Bar required.
- 5–15 years of litigation experience.
- Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Motivated, hardworking, and eager to continue learning and developing professionally.
Salary
