Our Armed Patrol Officers at a busy retail location conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, help to deter security‑related incidents, and respond to customer and site needs with professionalism. This is a driving and armed post where your presence, communication, and quick decision‑making support daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Fri 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sat 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Sun 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service at a retail location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and/or asset movement while reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to site leadership. Complete required reports, document incidents and/or observations, and handle assigned security‑related equipment in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
