Position Security Officer Armed Patrol Motorist – Spring, TX Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, high‑traffic areas, and restricted spaces to help deter theft, trespassing, and/or other policy violations while maintaining a professional presence. Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site instructions, including reporting concerns, following escalation procedures, and supporting asset protection efforts. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Have a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
