Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol professional at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including preparing clear and accurate activity and incident reports. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floors, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, helping to identify unusual activity and security‑related concerns. Monitor for theft‑related activity, trespassing, loitering, and/or policy violations, and communicate with local management and/or public law enforcement when needed. Support closing and opening procedures, monitor restricted areas, and provide a visible presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity at the location. Minimum Requirements Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
