Our Security Officers at this utility location conduct routine unarmed patrols and driving patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) TSA Issued TWIC Job Schedule: Mon: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Tue: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Wed: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Thur: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor entry procedures in accordance with site policies. Support emergency and non-routine situations by communicating with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership while following post orders and location protocols. Minimum Requirements: A TSA-issued TWIC is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
