Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) 21+ Years of Age (C101) Security Experience - 6+ Months Job Schedule Day Time: Mon 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter zones to help identify security‑related concerns and report maintenance, access, and/or environmental issues. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or sensitive areas. Support security‑related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by following post orders, observing for hazards or policy violations, and reporting concerns through proper channels. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
