Security Officer Full Time Patrol Steward – Houston, TX Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Sun: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and document security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines. Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and communicating observed conditions to first responders and/or property management. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
