As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Steward in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking facilities, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and document security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities by assisting with evacuations, directing foot traffic, and communicating observed conditions to first responders and/or property management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
