Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Concierge in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will complete routine rounds, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that values integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, common areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
• Assist with visitor assistance, directions, and customer-facing interactions while maintaining awareness of security-related issues across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
